Guest scores and detailed hotel feedback
When we returned from our day out exploring, our room had not been made up, so we found it dirty, which was disappointing. The room could benefit from secondary glazing as the noise from the main road was noticeable. Despite being somewhat small without a view, being on the mezzanine level offered a view of the castle, which was a nice touch.
My stay at the hotel was absolutely fabulous. The rooms were lovely and well laid out, although there was a bit of noise issue. The service was top-notch, with the staff being efficient and friendly from start to finish. The location was perfect, right at the west end of Princes St, making it easy to explore the city. The dining options were good overall but lacked some variety. The facilities were great, despite a minor hiccup with the temperature of the pool and jacuzzi.
I had a wonderful time at the hotel! The split-level room was perfect for accommodating my Grandfather with all his needs, although the standard of the room was shockingly poor. The view was either a lovely castle or the not-so-appealing street.
The hotel provided everything we needed for our stay, and any additional requests were accommodated smoothly. The rooms were spacious, and the beds were comfortable, although I found the pricing a bit high for the standard offered.
I had a great experience at the hotel! The front desk staff went above and beyond to provide a room when my original one became unavailable. The heating in the room was excellent, and despite a few minor issues, the attentive service made up for it.
Upon arrival, our room was quite a distance from the lift, tucked away near a service door where staff often passed through, but we did enjoy a lovely view of the castle once we craned our necks to see it. It took a while for the room to warm up, despite the chill when we first entered. The check-in was smooth after 3 pm.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were huge and beautifully decorated, providing a quiet and comfortable space. However, my room was very small for my liking. The service was exceptional, with staff going above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. The location was superb, right at the beginning of Princess Street, offering easy access to all the attractions. The dining experience was mostly excellent, although there was a slight disappointment with one meal. Overall, a great value for money.
Wow, what a great experience at this hotel! From being upgraded to a King Premiere Suite thanks to our Hilton Honors status and the off-season fewer guests, to the exceptional service by the front desk, this stay was fantastic. The room itself was amazing, but a bit of a letdown with a dirty tissue in the corridor throughout our stay. Despite that, the overall experience was top-notch.
